St. Johanniskirche

The main Lutheran church St. Johannis is the oldest church in the city of Lüneburg. A special feature of the church is the slightly leaning tower, which had to be rebuilt in 1406 due to a fire caused by lightning. Not only the shape is striking, but also the height of the tower. With a current height of almost 109 meters, it is also one of the highest church towers in Lower Saxony.
