Erinnerungsort Rabbiner Rülf-Platz

Rabbi Salomon Friedrich Rülf, born in Braunschweig and died in Vevey, was particularly active in Saarbrücken for the interests of the Jews in Saarland during the Nazi era.  A memorial bearing his name was created in his honour in 2013. The Rabbi Rülf-Platz memorial is located directly in front of the Saar-Center. "The Interrupted Forest" stretches all the way up the flight of steps to the Saar and is the central memorial to the Holocaust in the entire Saarland.
